Amanda: Well, I'm not sure how to explain? But I sketch it, then clean it up to get rid of the scribblies, and then bring it into Toon Boom to ink it because I really like the pen tool in that program. I've seen others use Illustrator with similar results, but toon boom is faster for me to use freehand. Then I bring it into Photoshop for coloring! :) Does that help?
I'm an animation and background artist with a degree in Animation from Columbia College Chicago. Currently I'm working at John K. Enterprises as an animator/assistant/clean up artist/background painter/cat wrangler and freelancing lots of fun odd-jobs on the side. I love drawing ladies, staying up late, and eating veggie burgers!
