A friend requested this some time ago as her prize for screen capturing my 30,000th pageview on DeviantART... some 6,000 pageviews later I finally got to this, haha
So here is a pinup portrait of the lovely Miss. Lacey Pierson
Yep- wacom intuos tablet and photoshop. For stuff like this I use the pen-tool. For everything else, I color by hand. Heres the low-down on one of the ways I approach coloring: http://S-Harkey.deviantart.com/art/Digital-Method-Tutorial-106801669
Flipping adorable! I love the exaggeration of body proportions. Definitely in that vein of pin up mentality! It's like a horror movie only not scary and very cute as well as there are no bugs that get squished but aren't actually bugs and are in fact a girl who likes to body build. Ick, no more Freddy movies for me! I haven't seen it since I was like 11 and it still haunts me. Not your drawing, the movie.
I'm an animation and background artist with a degree in Animation from Columbia College Chicago. Currently I'm working at John K. Enterprises as an animator/assistant/clean up artist/background painter/cat wrangler and freelancing lots of fun odd-jobs on the side. I love drawing ladies, staying up late, and eating veggie burgers!

Um.... this is adorable.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure where the horror movie reference came from.
