I'm Not Jaded

Hi guys! Sorry for my absence-- my computer suddenly started flailing and telling me "Danger! Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!"-- so I took it to Apple, hoping they could correct it. One week, three increasingly annoyed phone calls from yours truly, and one Logic Board later and I'm back!

This was done right before all hell broke loose; a commission for the owner of www.ImNotJaded.Com for her blog header. It was a lot of fun, she gave me lots of great references to work off of, right down to photos of shoes and lipstick colors! Thats how I like em', that way communication is crystal clear and everyone ends up happy :)

The following is watermarked for a reason. Please do not copy, print, trace, distribute, alter, or otherwise use this art for any reason what-so-ever.

Thanks Filipe- you have some very nice art on your end as well :) I especially like that last post of yours!

And the Cintiq is wonderful, I've had tablets for the past 8 or 9 years now, and the Cintiq is so much easier to use. Unfortunately, now I don't have any excuses when something doesn't turn out the way I had intended, lol, I can't say "Oh... its because I have the block from the separation of hand-to-tablet-to-screen" anymore :D

If you're serious about your art, and think you might want a Cintiq, I say go for it. Put some money aside every month and eventually you'll get there. It took me a couple of years because of unexpected events and emergencies that would drain my wallet... but I'm glad I stuck through and got it.

Oh, thanks for looking at my blog, it really means a lot for me. And about art, It really means a lot for me (I'd like to work as an animator at Pixar one day). But I'm young and I do not work, so I can't save money yet. But I think I'll buy a cheaper one this year and maybe start selling somethings (if possible, of course). Keep on posting!
